Response to the 2023 Homes For Ukraine Parliamentary Inquiry

Since the introduction of the Homes for Ukraine (HfU) scheme, the Global Exchange on Migration and Diversity worked with 12 participating cities (Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool, Peterborough, London, Belfast, Birmingham, Brighton, Coventry, Newry, Mourne & Down, Newport and Sheffield) to understand how local authorities have supported the integration of Ukrainians in their city as well as the challenges and opportunities they have faced in relation to HfU. This report shares key findings from our consultation with local authorities and a review of the research literature on HfU.
