Delphine is the COMPAS Communications Officer, providing support to COMPAS research and projects, including long-standing initiatives such as the Global Exchange on Migration and Diversity and the Migration Observatory. She previously worked in volunteer promotion at the British Red Cross.
Delphine holds a MSc in Migration Studies at the University of Oxford, jointly with the Oxford Department of International Development and the School of Anthropology. Her dissertation examined soundscapes and the sensory experience of music within the Indian diaspora in the UK. Delphine was the co-Secretary for the Oxford Migration Studies Society, co-organizing the annual Oxford Migration Conference in 2022. She holds a BA in Music at the University of Bristol, supervised by Dr Florian Scheding.
Research interests include: transnationalism; diaspora studies; anthropology of the senses; homemaking; gender and postcolonial studies; music and migration.
