What is the evidence about migrant living conditions in the private rented sector and how could they be improved?

At least three-quarters of recent migrants to the UK live in the private rented sector. They often have low awareness of their rights and responsibilities as tenants, and are more likely to have irregular tenancies or to live in poorcondition multi-occupation properties.
