Biography

Delphine is the incoming Oxford Community Hub Programme Officer with the Refugee-Led Research Hub based at the Oxford Department of International Development.

She was the COMPAS Communications Officer, providing support to COMPAS research and projects, including long-standing initiatives such as the Global Exchange on Migration and Diversity and the Migration Observatory. She has worked at the British Red Cross and several London-based refugee services NGOs.

Delphine holds an MSc in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford and BA in Music from the University of Bristol supervised by Dr Florian Scheding. Her master's research examined soundscapes and the sensory experience of music within the Indian diaspora in the UK. Delphine has served as co-Secretary for the Oxford Migration Studies Society and co-organised the annual Oxford Migration Conference 2022.

Research interests include: diaspora studies; transnationalism; anthropology of the senses; homemaking; gender and postcolonial studies; music and migration; community programming.
