We are pleased to inform you that general registration for the MIGNEX conference, New knowledge on migration, development and policy, is now open. To register, please click this link to fill in the Microsoft form: https://forms.office.com/e/rZe24Lyfuu
Please note that general registration places are limited and it is “first come, first served”.
Background
The conference marks the end of the MIGNEX project, the largest-ever European-funded research project on migration and development. The project team has collected data on migration and development in 26 local communities in ten countries across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia and carried out analyses of migration-related policy. The conference combines the presentation of MIGNEX results with insights from other researchers who work on the same overall themes.
All sessions will be plenary. The selection of abstracts has prioritized those that hold the promise of compelling presentations of new insights that make a difference to the field of migration studies. The organizers are examining opportunities for compiling selected papers as proposals for one or two special issues of journals.
There will be no conference fee. Participants must cover their own expenses for travel and accommodation. Applicants from low- and middle-income countries may request financial support for their participation.
