Biography

Raushan is a postdoctoral researcher at the Martti Ahtisaari Institute, Oulu Business School, and the University of Oulu, Finland. She holds a PhD in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Oulu and a Master’s in Project Management from Royal Holloway, University of London. Before this, Raushan was a visiting scholar at the University of Southern Denmark and Shanghai University. Raushan’s research interests include business incubators and accelerators in the healthcare context, the integration of highly skilled immigrants, migrant women entrepreneurship, minority entrepreneurship, gender diversity and inclusion, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Raushan has experience working on research projects and teaching, specifically in minor entrepreneurship-related disciplines. Raushan currently works in OYSTER – Health and Life Science Incubator Project, which aims to establish new health and life science companies in the Oulu region in Finland and support the commercialization of research innovations in health and life sciences.
