Elisa is a DPhil candidate in Migration Studies, exploring the links between migration, development, and health. Her research examines how migrants transfer ideas and information about health and how this may affect health-related behaviour and outcomes within their networks.
Elisa works for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) team in Berlin. She has worked in migration research and policy for 10 years, including across various parts of the IOM and the World Health Organisation (WHO). Elisa holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy & Politics from the University of Edinburgh.
