We are soliciting papers for the V Workshop on Immigration, Health and Well-being, 2020. The workshop’s focus is broad, covering empirical economics research on these topics. The workshop will last two days, with a small number of hour-long research presentations. Ian Preston (UCL) and Paolo Pinotti (Bocconi University) will be the keynote speakers. The workshop is sponsored by the Department of Economics and Finance, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and will be held at the Rome Campus of the School of Economics.

The workshop aims to foster new connections among scholars with common interests in migration, health, and well-Being. Past editions of the workshop at the University of Oxford (2016 and 2017), Pompeu Fabra University (2018), and the University of Pittsburgh (2019) have attracted a large number of early career and senior scholars and led to insightful and extensive discussion of the papers.

There are no fees. Lunches and refreshments will be provided free of charge to all participants, who are responsible however for their travel and accommodation expenses.

If you are interested in presenting a paper at the meeting, please send a draft of your paper to by 25 January 2020.
Decisions will be made by 10 February 2020.
