The Everyday

The Everyday forum is a space for the discussion of the bundle of social practices that are integral to what we do and how we live. These are routine processes so ubiquitous and ordinary that they often go unnoticed, and yet they are fundamental to the way we perceive each other, society, politics and the world, and they shape our relationships with migrants and the issue of migration.

This is a space to ask: What is ordinary? Who is ordinary? How did any of this become so? Who decides what is ordinary? What gives them the power to do so?
