Introduction

This report forms part of the EU-funded research project UPSTREAM, which brings together researchers in five EU countries (the UK, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain) in an effort to analyse how, why and to what effect governments at the EU, national and local level mainstream their migrant integration policies. This study explores the mainstreaming of migrant integration policies in the United Kingdom.
