This paper, produced as part of the transnational comparative IMPACIM project, reviews the conditions of stay and the rationale for entitlements and restrictions for family migrants in the United Kingdom. The restrictions and entitlements its covers are influenced by government policy and are subject to regular change. The mapping report aims to straddle a fine balance in condensing the detail of these arrangements and yet still providing a usable summary.
