Dr. Sandra Morgenstern is a postdoctoral researcher at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES) and at the chair of Migration and Integration at the University of Mannheim. Her research interests focus on (i) migration decisions and their influencing factors, and (ii) aspects of integration in the form of prejudice reduction and immigration policy. Methodologically, she is dedicated to field research, experiments, causal inference, and quantitative research methods in general, focusing on EU neighbouring countries and countries in East and West Africa. Sandra is a member of the IMISCOE Doctoral Advisory Board, a staff representative at MZES, and a research fellow at the Center on Anti-Semitism at ADL. She works closely with several non-governmental organizations in different countries and has served as a consultant for several international organizations.
