Mădălina Manea Visiting Academic

As a PhD student at the University of Bucharest, Madalina is working on a thesis on migration decision making in the case of young temporary migrants from Romania, looking particularly at the role of social networks in the process.

She has a BA in Politics from Nottingham Trent University, UK, and an MA in Advanced Sociological Research from the University of Bucharest. Since the beginning of her PhD studies, she has been working as a research assistant in two international projects, YMOBILITY and TEMPER, being part of the team of researchers from the Centre for Migration Studies at the University of Bucharest.
