Dr Lucie Cerna is a Project Leader in the Directorate for Education and Skills at the OECD, Paris, and a Research Associate at the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS), Oxford. Previously she was a Lecturer at Merton College, Oxford, an Assistant Professor in Global Challenges at Leiden University, the Netherlands, and an Anglo-German Postdoctoral Fellow at Oxford. Lucie holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford, where she focused on the governance of high-skilled migration policies. She has published widely on the political economy of skilled migration, comparative public policy and European Union politics. Her recent book is Immigration Policies and the Global Competition for Talent (2016), Palgrave Macmillan.
