Karin Geuijen’s main research interests focus on the role which hybrid (multilevel and multisector) networks have in creating public value, especially in the domains of justice and security. She does monitoring and evaluation research in order to establish whether public value is actually being created. She participates in an international and interdisciplinary research team which monitors and evaluates innovations in refugee reception and integration (U-RLP). She has developed a framework for evaluating international police co-operation. She co-leads a monitoring project on innovative financial arrangements for social enterprises (social impact bonds).
Karin was a COMPAS Visiting Academic from 25 May to 25 June 2019.
