Karin Geuijen’s main research interests focus on the role which hybrid (multilevel and multi-sector) networks have in creating public value, especially in the domains of justice and security. She does monitoring and evaluation research in order to establish whether public value is actually being created. She is part of an international and interdisciplinary research team which monitors and evaluates innovations in refugee reception (U-RLP). Recently she developed a framework for evaluating international police co-operation. She also co-leads a monitoring project on innovative financial arrangements for social enterprises (social impact bonds).
