COMPAS Short Courses

COMPAS is currently developing plans to offer short policy and practitioner courses on migration issues both in the UK and abroad.

Content: Building on COMPAS' experience and expertise we hope to provide teaching programmes that offer solid evidence and data, insights of experienced practitioners and cutting edge academic research.

Audience: These will predominantly be aimed at policy makers and practitioners working with migration related issues. We may well consider summer programmes for graduate students or modules for student groups visiting the UK in the future.

Courses: We recently ran a course in collaboration with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) on the challenges and opportunities of integration in ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations), particularly in terms of labour migration. This was hugely successful and if possible we plan to run the course again in 2014. And we are currently working with the ILO again on developing an international training academy on integration issues - EUMIA.

Enquiries: Our courses are currently in the development phase and therefore we would love to hear from you if you have any preferences on what issues and themes the courses should cover, if you would to talk to us about us running a bespoke course for your organisation, or if you would simply like to register your interest and kept up to date on developments:
