Funding for Oxford University Students to visit Stockholm University
The international collaborative research programme Opening the Black Box of Migration: Brokers and the Organization of Transnational Mobility invites applications from students at the University of Oxford for funding to support visits to the Department of Anthropology, Stockholm University.
- The length of visits can range from one week to one month, depending on the nature of the students’ proposals and the availability of resources.
- Students will have access to the libraries of the university and will be able to attend classes and seminars at the department.
- Funding will cover the airfare and provide subsistence subsidies.
- Students are expected to contribute to developing stronger ties between Oxford and Stockholm, and to intellectually contribute to the research on globalization, migration and particularly brokerage.
- The research programme will end on June 30, 2012, and visits must take place before that time.
- There is no constraint regarding the programmes and subjects where the students are enrolled.
Those who are interested should write to XIANG Biao at biao.xiang@compas.ox.ac.uk to indicate:
- the research topic,
