She is interested in the relationships between processes of migration, conflict and development, particularly the impact of migration and transnationalism on countries of origin, remittances and money transfer infrastructures, the dynamics of conflict-related and post-conflict migration, and the livelihoods of people on the move. Her doctoral and postdoctoral research focused on aspects of the above in the Somali case.

Anna Lindley is currently a lecturer in Migration and Development at SOAS, University of London.
