Mikal Mast provides administrative support to the Centre Administrator, Communications team and the Migration Observatory project team.
She has a BA in French and History from Calvin College and an MA in Chinese Studies from the University of Arizona.
Before joining COMPAS Mikal worked for the Vice-Principal for Biomedicine at Glasgow University and assisted as administrator for the Glasgow Centre for International Development. Previously she worked on proposals and communications at CARANA Corporation, an international development consulting firm based just outside Washington DC. Prior to this she spent three years as a Peace Corps volunteer teaching English in Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan.
