The Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS)

From May 2009, Jenny has taken over the role of Communications Manager for the duration of Emma Newcombe's maternity leave.

Jenny Newman is the COMPAS Communications and Administrative Officer, co-ordinating all COMPAS events, assisting with other outreach activities and internal communication administration.

In 2004 she gained a Masters in Analytical Aesthetics from Bristol University, following undergraduate study in English and Philosophy at Leeds University, where she specialised in Post-Colonial theory.

Before joining COMPAS, Jenny lived in Berlin where she was employed as an English trainer for Siemens, and continued writing for various independent publications. She has a keen interest in Graphic Design and has employed her design skills to promote many COMPAS activities.
