Based on a three-year ESRC-funded study of African-initiated Pentecostal churches in East London, this briefing highlights key findings and policy recommendations. In particular, it focuses on the churches’ missions, congregational compositions, and activities relating to social engagement and relations with the broader localities where they are based.
